2020 SUPER BASEBALL, released by SNK in 1991, is a distinctive take on the baseball genre. Set in a near-future scenario, the game features two leagues comprising six teams each. Players select their team and compete for championship honors. Notably, the game introduces unique mechanics such as landmines on the field and the ability to purchase armor during matches to bolster player defenses, resulting in a markedly different baseball experience compared to traditional simulations.
